Pebble Beach Resorts
These three ritzy Pebble Beach resorts on the Monterey Peninsula are near world famous golf courses. To stay at one of them requires some serious pocket change. The Inn At Spanish Bay is west of Highway 1 between Carmel and Pacific Grove, at the Scottish Links Golf Course. It is a full service resort with all the trimmings. There are 271 rooms and suites gas burning fireplaces. Most have balconies or a patio, and all have either a bay or forest view. Other features include beach access, nature trails, a heated outdoor pool, sauns, a whirlpool, two restaurants, round the clock room service and two cocktail lounges. The Lodge At Pebble Beach is also on the 17 Mile Drive. They have two heated outdoor pools, a wading pool, whirlpool, sauna, nature trails and a fantastic view. The rooms feature honor bars and many have woodburning fireplaces. There's a plethora of gift shops, mostly golf related, afternoon tea and a restaurant called Club XIX. Casa Palmero is the third Pebble Beach resort located along the 17 Mile Drive. It is two stories, with an exterior corridor. Cottages are available as well. There is a heated outdoor pool and some of the rooms have whirlpools. The Pebble Beach Golf Links are nearby. The Casa Palmero has a gift shop and also offers complimentary beverages in the evening.
