Pacific Grove Motels
Pacific Grove motels tend to be a less expensive option than staying in Carmel. Most are simple affairs, but in a lovely setting where you really can feel you are getting away from it all. You can go for long walks on the coastline path, out to Point Pinos or to Lover's Point.
Explore tide pools all day if you like and enjoy the fresh air of monterey pine mixed with the ocean breezes. This part of the peninsula tends to be cooler and foggier more often than Carmel or Monterey proper.
