Hey All You Jazz Lovers, Yes You
Don't miss the Monterey Jazz Festival in Monterey California this weekend, September 16th through the 18th.

Held each year at the Monterey County Fairgrounds, this festival features the biggest names in jazz. Over 500 artists will perform on one of eight different stages. Lots of food and beverages to enjoy, plus an international shopping bazaar.

Monterey Bay Greek Festival This Weekend
Head on down to the Custom House Plaza in Monterey California to partake in the Greek style festivities.
From September 3rd to the 5th, there's live Greek music, dancing and food, and best of all, it's all free.

Polynesian Festival In Santa Cruz
On Sunday August 21st, there will be celebrity outrigger canoe races and a Polynesian festival in Santa Cruz California at the Santa Cruz Wharf. Don't let the "celebrity" name deter you, these races are for beginners also.
The festival after the races includes live Hawaiian music, Hawaiian shaved ice and dancers. The races start at 9:00 am. Find out more here...

Wine Tasting Festival In Carmel
At the 19th Annual Winemakers Celebration, you can taste wine from 40 local wineries all in one convenient place: the Barnyard shopping center in Carmel California. It happens this Saturday August 13th from 1pm to 4pm.
Tickets are $35, (or $30 in advance) and includes delicious food samples from local restaurants, live jazz music, and a silent auction.

Enjoy The Blues In Monterey
This weekend June 24 to June 26th is the annual Monterey Bay Blues Festival. Held at the Monterey County Fairgrounds in Monterey California, this music festival features bands in the main arena, the President's Stage and the Payton Garden Stage. Lots of food, clothing and craft vendors will be around in case you find yourself with any down time between acts.

Art Festival In Carmel This Weekend
The Annual Carmel Art Festival continues through this weekend until Sunday May 15th. All official events are held at Devendorf Park and Mission Street in Carmel California, but several art galleries will have their own receptions or demonstrations.
The festival is free to all visitors. You can bid on the paintings at the silent or live auctions, or just enjoy the exhibitions and live music.

Festival Of The Winds In Monterey Bay
This Mother's Day weekend, why not take mom to a kite flying festival? The 12th Annual Marina International Festival Of The Winds happens event takes place both Saturday and Sunday May 7th and 8th in Marina, a town north of Monterey California.
All kinds of fun activities are planned, from kite making workshops to a kite competition, live music, a giant inflatable air park the kids will love, and wind related crafts and science projects.
