The Hyatt Regency Monterey

Located right at the Del Monte Golf Course, the Hyatt Regency Monterey is a luxury resort undergoing multimillion dollar renovations. Their new full service spa will open early in 2009, but in the meantime, you can enjoy massages in your room.

It's probably the largest hotel in Monterey, with over 500 rooms in two to four story buildings.

A new health club on site will feature two outdoor heated pools and whirlpool hot tubs.

Other activities to enjoy at the Monterey Hyatt include golfing, tennis, walking or running along trails, and bike riding.

The kids can have fun at Camp Hyatt, where they can enjoy various activities and arts & crafts.

Dining facilities at this resort include TusCA Ristorante, which features Tuscan cuisine with a golf course view. Right nearby is the Fireplace Lounge, which offers cocktails, live jazz, light fare and, of course, a fireplace.

Knuckles Historical Sports Bar is also on site where you can relax, have a drink and watch sports on TV.
