Why Central Coast?

The California Central Coast is desirable primarily due to the mild weather and beautiful scenery. It's also less crowded compared to the San Francisco Bay Area or Southern California coastal areas. For Southern California real estate, click here.

The downside is there are not as many jobs, but what a great place to retire or have a vacation home. In addition, investment prospects are great, with property values down now, but inevitably bound to rise again over time as they always do.

Variety Abounds

Central Coast real estate varies widely, from Santa Cruz, a college town and surfer town combined, to big Sur's cabins in

the woods, to the Monterey Peninsula, to small seaside communities like Capitola or Cambria.

Oceanfront properties are subject to more fog, while inland properties tend to be available with more land.

In addition to being near the ocean, another draw of the Central Coast is it's ever growing wine country. Central Coast wine tasting has become a favorite weekend pastime for many.
